Privacy Policy

Effective 6 October 2026

Short version. We (the developer) don't collect your personal data and there are no accounts. Your progress stays on your phone. Free users see ads from Google AdMob, and Google may use device identifiers for that, with your consent where the law requires it. Subscriptions are handled by Google Play.

Who we are

Bisect is published by Uptriva (Asritha Lolla). Questions about this policy: privacy@getbisect.com.

What stays on your device

To remember your progress, the app stores things like completed games, best scores, earned badges, your chosen course, your light/dark setting, and how many questions you have answered today. This lives only in the app's private storage on your phone. We cannot see it and it is not sent to us.

What we collect

Nothing directly. We do not ask for your name, email, location, contacts or photos, and the app has no sign-in.

Ads (free plan)

The free plan shows ads served by Google AdMob: an optional ad you can watch to earn extra questions, and an occasional ad between games. To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and use your Advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Where required (for example in the European Economic Area and the UK), the app asks for your consent first using Google's consent tool, and you can review or change your choice at any time from the app's privacy options. You can also reset your Advertising ID or turn off ad personalization in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads. Google's use of this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Subscribers to Bisect Pro see no ads.

Purchases

Bisect Pro is sold through Google Play. Google handles your payment details and we never see them. The app learns only whether you hold an active subscription, so it can unlock Pro features. Manage or cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.

Network access

The app uses the internet to show ads, process purchases, and download updated course information and questions. Like any app or website, these requests reveal ordinary connection details such as your IP address to the services involved.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not build advertising profiles ourselves.
  • We do not use analytics or tracking code of our own.

Children

Bisect is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Deleting your data

Your progress exists only on your device: uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage in Android settings, deletes it. For data held by Google (ads, purchases), see Google's controls at myaccount.google.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data, such as access or deletion. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve, but write to privacy@getbisect.com with any request or question and we will answer.

Changes

If we add accounts, cloud backup, analytics or anything else that handles personal data, we will update this policy and the Data safety information on Google Play before it ships.
